ID449-Battery Powered Hot Stick Tester

• Designed to protect the operator while in use, indicates leakage values that would be present in a hot stick at 75kV/ft. (wet) /100kV/ft. (dry) in accordance with OSHA 1910.269
• Lightweight and designed for portability
• Sticks can be tested at jobsite if no power is present
• Test hot sticks wet or dry
• The tester has a selector switch for wet or dry testing and a dual range scale which gives the operator leakage current values in micro amps
• Utilizing a 2,500 volt output, the meter is calibrated to indicate the leakage values that would be present if 75KVAC were applied to a 12” section of the fiberglass tool for the wet test and 100KVAC per foot for the dry test
• The tester comes complete with a padded carrying case and directions for proper use
• A test bar is also provided to ensure the tester is working properly
• Bright digital display with easy to read Pass/Fail
• If battery is dead, this can run on standard 110 volt outlet
